Despite the availability of lots of fresh, delicious fruits and vegetables, Latin-American countries are known for being carnivorous. And they do a great job of preparing the most delicious meat I have ever eaten! Armando’s friend Mario took us out for lunch to “El Patio” – one of Armando’s favorite restaurants. As you can see, we had plenty to eat. I think I could go on a vegetarian diet for the rest of the year after all of the meat I ate. (But every bite was delicious!)
